The core workflow is as follows:

The operator secures the workpiece on the workbench and completes precise positioning using the positioning fixture.

The teach pendant is used to set nailing parameters, including nailing positions, firing force, and the number of nails per station, and to select the preset nailing program.

After the system is started, the robot drives the pneumatic nail gun to the initial nailing position according to the programmed trajectory.

The pneumatic nail gun automatically fires along the preset path, while the robot maintains real-time positional accuracy between the nail gun and the workpiece to prevent deviation.

After completing the nailing of one workpiece, the robot resets the nail gun and waits for the next operation command.

 

Operation and Maintenance Requirements

Environmental Requirements
The equipment should be operated in a dry environment free of heavy dust and corrosive gases to prevent contamination of the pneumatic nail gun and moving components, which could affect accuracy and service life.

Initial Commissioning
Before first use, calibrate the alignment between the pneumatic nail gun and the robot axis, verify stable air pressure from the air pump, and confirm that nailing parameters match the material type and thickness.

Routine Maintenance
Before daily operation, check for nozzle blockage, ensure smooth nail feeding, and clean surface debris; lubricate robot joints weekly as required; inspect power cables and air hoses monthly; regularly clean the positioning fixture to maintain positioning accuracy.
