The core working process of the spot welding robot is as follows:

Workpiece Positioning and Fixing: Place the workpiece on a dedicated fixture, ensuring the weld point aligns with the program using positioning pins and clamping devices.

Parameter Setting and Program Recall: Use the teach pendant to select the corresponding welding program, set the welding current, welding time, and electrode pressure. Parameters can be directly adjusted and saved without rewriting the program.

Automatic Spot Welding Operation: The robot moves the welding clamp to the weld point according to the program, applies pressure, and applies electricity to form a weld point. Repeat the operation until all weld points are completed.

Operation Completion and Reset: After welding, the welding clamp returns to its initial position, the fixture releases, and the robot awaits the next batch of workpieces.

Environmental Requirements

Temperature: -5℃~45℃

Relative Humidity ≤ 85%

Avoid strong electromagnetic interference and corrosive gases; protective baffles can be added to prevent welding slag.

Initial Debugging Focus

Calibrate the deviation between the welding clamp center and the robot axis to ensure accurate welds.

Check the uniformity of the welding clamp clamping force and the normality of the circuit.

Adjust welding parameters and perform test welding to confirm weld quality.

03/

Routine Maintenance

Daily: Check electrode wear, clean welding slag and oil, and check electrode connection wires.

Weekly: Check joint lubrication, cylinder air pressure, and air pipe leaks.

Monthly: Calibrate welding machine current and voltage, check cooling fan, clean dust, and calibrate fixture positioning accuracy.
